As a bass player myself, I was heartened to discover this list on a blog called Strange, Wierd Thoughts. Top of the list is Queen - Another One Bites The Dust, a great bass line, but there was no mention of the incredible bass line from You Can Call Me Al, by Paul Simon. Still, check out the list:
