When I saw Duffy on magazine covers before a single single had been released my cynical instincts were on high alert. But it's such a compelling and brilliant first song I stand corrected. Did she dream up this cacophonous production herself? Does it matter...?
I was driving my car last Friday night listening to the radio DJ spin some new artists when this song came on. I almost had to stop and start dancing in the street. Fortunately I caught the name of the artist. Is this girl funky or what? And what is that sound?? I can't sit still and listen to her. Girl singers rock!
